How to schedule a IPTV Program and map to multiple Channels at one go ?
Step-1: Log-in to the Cadjin CMS.
Step-2: In the left side menu, go to the Contents section which is under Digital library section.
Here you can see previously created contents.
Step-3: Select the IPTV Video type content which you want to schedule. Then, click on the more option, i.e. Three dots at the lower right corner of the content thumbnail. Here you can see Preview, Share, Edit and Delete options. Select the Edit option.
Step-4: Now you can edit your previously created TV Program content. Click on the Save & Next button and skip the steps of the content creation flow like, providing Content Details (title, description, category, thumbnail, banner image etc.), General Settings (artist, metadata, content partner etc.) and go to the last step of the content creation flow, i.e. Set Pricing & Publish.
Step-5: In the final step of the IPTV Program content creation, you need to provide the Publishing details. Here you need to consider the following four steps.
Step-5(a): First Select the IPTV Channel from the dropdown where you want to publish the content. In the dropdown, it will show the IPTV Channels which are already created.
Step-5(b): Then provide the time slot for the program, i.e. set the START TIME and END TIME of the TV Program. You can also View Available Slot of the selected IPTV Channel.
Step-5(c): If you want to run the program in the selected IPTV Channel for multiple times, then, Set Recurring of the TV Program accordingly from the dropdown. Note that, by default the recurring is set to Does not Repeat.
Step-5(d): If the TV Program is running on recurring basis (Daily, Weekly once, Monthly Once, Every Week-day), then please provide the EXPIRES ON information. The recurring of the TV Program will stop as per the date and time provided on the 'EXPIRES ON' section.
Step-6: To schedule the same content in another channel with another time slot, click on the ADD SLOT button (at the top right corner). A new Slot 2 will be added to the PUBLISH Section. Now, repeat Step-5 for the Slot 2, i.e Slect the IPTV Channel, Set the Start and End time, Set the recurring time and set the Expiry date.
That's it! You've successfully scheduled the TV Program content in multiple IPTV Channels.
Note that, you can create as many number of Slots as you can and map the content to the multiple channels.
